Worm Bins
Gone are the old days of composting, the Worm Farm is faster than other composters, with the worms producing the compost for you the composting process is sped up.The vermicompost and worm tea produced is very concentrated. A little goes a long way. It will never burn your plants as it is organic. When putting the compost in your garden you only need a handful around the base of the plant so the nutrients can soak down to the roots. The worm tea can be tapped off weekly and must then be diluted. Once the unit is set up you will be getting the worm tea in approximately 3 weeks and the vermiconpost in approximately 3 months. Worm Farms are easy to manage with little effort resulting in the highest quality compost and tea for your garden and vegetables.
Our Worm Farm has a small foot print and is an attractive unit that can stand in your kitchen or garage. There are no restrictions to the number of trays you can stack, each tray is easily stacked and lifted
The Worm Farm is an odorless system due to the ventilation lid that allows the good bacteria to breath, allowing you to place your worm farm indoors or outdoors. If it is outdoors it must not be exposed to the elements, it needs to be in a well shaded area.
Global warming is a great concern! By throwing your food scraps away, which then goes to landfill sites, you are contributing to the release of poisonous gasses into the atmosphere. This is severely encouraging the rapid deterioration of the ozone layer.
Recycling your fruit, vegetables and paper scraps with the aid of worms in our Worm Farm contributes towards saving our Earth. We all need to do our bit to help our precious planet.
Worms are natures way of showing that even the bad can become good. Made to help in the balance of the earths soil, with their wondrous digestive systems they recycle our garbage into nutrient rich compost, becoming a great benefit to the earth we live on.
When you purchase a Worm Farm from Worms Galore, you receive 1000 Red Wiggler Worms and a Beginners Guide as well as all the bedding required to set the unit up. The beginners guide contains tips and instructions on getting you started, maintenance, troubleshooting and what your worms should and shouldnt eat! The Worm Farm is a Multi-Layer tray composter. Toss all food scraps like vegetable and fruit peels, cores, and pips, egg shells, stale bread and junk mail into the worm farm. The worms start their composting in the bottom tray. When that tray is ready for harvesting, you add the next tray on top. You now only put the food in the top tray and the worms migrate to the new food, leaving the vermicompost behind for you to harvest. Additionally, the worm tea drains through to the collection tray at the bottom. This liquid fertilizer is then diluted and can be used in pots, baskets, vegetables,
herbs as well as in your garden.
