Lead times and General Information

Products

9.1 Lead time

From our confirmation of the order, an order for stainless steel recycling products will take approximately 9 weeks until completion and delivery. This lead time cannot be reduced as these products are dispatched from the factory by sea due to their bulkiness. To airfreight such products, this can be done for a maximum order of 3 units and surcharges will apply.

An order for the locally made products will be subject to the quantity ordered and the time at which the order is being placed. It will usually vary between 2-4 weeks subjected to stock availability.

We use The Courier Guy, for our delivery's where we are not able to deliver our self's. The shipping price does not carry a markup and is directly quoted.

9.2 General Information and Terms and Conditions (Products)

Our prices are subject to change without prior notice; therefore please do not hesitate to ask us for updated quotations from time to time. Prices do not include the costs of corporate branding onto the recycling containers using vinyl or other methods. Please ask us for a quotation if you would like us to handle this for you. All prices provided exclude delivery costs from our partner warehouse. Because of the size of some of the bins, these delivery costs may be significant, hence please ask us for a final quotation based on your choice of bins for a more accurate cost estimate including transport to the required location. For most products, discounts apply for orders of 10 bins and more, except for Desk Side bins and Ecolids which require a higher order quantity to qualify. Prices for the stainless steel recycling units are recalculated for each order based on the actual order quantity, and hence prices inherently allow for bulk order discounts. A deposit is required before an order is treated as confirmed. Manufacturing of the order will not commence until the order is confirmed. A deposit of 50% is required for all orders manufactured locally and a 67% deposit is required for orders manufactured overseas. Balance of payment is required strictly on dispatch of the order from our partner warehouses. We reserve the right to deliver your order in part-shipments if we feel this makes economic and practical sense. Products (including artwork/design work) will remain the property of ECOmonkey until the account is settled in full. Dimensions provided in this brochure may have been rounded and may differ slightly to the actual product dimensions on manufacturing. Orders are subject to our complete set of Terms and Conditions, a copy of which will be provided on request.

9.3 General Information and Terms and Conditions (Recycling Collection Service)

I agree to place all my recycling in a bag(s) for collection on the given day; I understand that if my recycling is not in bags it will not be collected, due to health and safety. It might happen that my recycling may not always be collected on the given day, and that the client will be notified of the service delivery failure and an alternate catch up collection will be arranged. I will ensure that the recycling bin is placed in an area where it is visible to the collection team and where the collection team have easy access to it and will not delay the collection process. I accept the twelve month service period after which the service will continue for a further 12 months unless cancelled by myself in writing, giving 30 days notice of such cancellation. I agree that if I decide to terminate the service before the period has lapsed, my account will be settled to the full outstanding amount for the remaining period with in the first year. I accept that the collection team have access to my mobile phone and will attempt to contact me if the recycling bin is not accessible. If they do not get a response, I accept that they will continue with their route and note the non response. I accept that my account is due by the 15th day of each month and will ensure that my account will be kept up to date to the best of my ability. Failing to do so will result in an interest charge of 15% per month on the outstanding balance.

9.4. Placing an Order or signing up for the collection service.

Orders can be placed via the website. Please make sure you receive confirmation within 7 working days.
The collection service starts for the first of the following month.
When placing an order, please remember to confirm the type of waste for which the recycling
Bins will be used, as well as whether you have a specific colour requirement (the standard
colors we use for each waste type is Green for Glass, Blue for Paper, Yellow for Plastic, Grey for Cans/Tin, Red/Orange for Hazardous materials, Dark Green for Organic). Furthermore, kindly read the information set out in section 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 before placing an order. Once an order has been placed, a preformed invoice will be issued to confirm the total cost of
Your order including delivery. A Tax invoice is normally issued on dispatch or delivery.
